Create your dream holiday with us in Anse Royale…

ANSE ROYALE

The town of Anse Royale (Royal Bay in English) is the site of one of the earliest settlements in Seychelles dating back to 1771, when a royal spice garden was established near to the bay by French settlers from Mauritius.  Located on the southeastern coast of Mahe, between the districts of Au Cap and Takamaka, Anse Royale’s beautiful coastline features a long stretch of white sands over Anse Royale main beach, and the stunning granite rock formations of Fairyland bay.
At the site of the original royal spice garden is Le Jardin Du Roi or the King’s Garden with its wonderful views down across the bay and the Ocean. The garden grows the same spices as were introduced in 1771 nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon and clove trees, as well as many other spices and flowers introduced later.
Anse Royale is considered the second town on the island after Victoria with its many services and features such as the Anse Royale Hospital, the University, shops and restaurants.

Royal Bay Villa and Apartment are located only a 3-minute walk from the world-renowned Anse Royale and Fairyland beaches, making it an ideal location for beach lovers. FOOD

Seychelles dining is influenced by many aspects from its early history to the current day.

The resulting cuisine is a fusion of the most exquisite tastes from Africa, India, China, Madagascar and Europe.

Coupled with its location and climate Seychelles offers an array of locally grown herbs, spices, vegetables and fruits, often enjoyed straight from the trees!

The fresh ingredients are used in creating the many traditional salads and dishes, such as lentil, kari poul (chicken curry) or as accompaniments to the many varied seafood dishes of the Seychelles Islands.

SNORKELLING

Snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of Seychelles and encountering abundant sea life in a pristine marine environment can be an exhilarating, unforgettable experience of otherwise unobserved nature.

Choose from organised snorkelling boat trips to finding a secluded spot off one of the many beaches fringed by coral reefs, outcrops of granite rocks and discover unique underwater seascapes.

There are numerous locations to snorkel including Anse Royale and Fairyland beaches both on our doorstep and within 5 minutes walk from Royal Bay Villa and Apartment.
